MOSCOW, October 8 (RAPSI) – Investigators on Thursday launched a probe into a school minibus road traffic accident in Russia’s Republic of Dagestan resulting in the death of 3 persons, the Investigative Committee’s press service told RAPSI.

A criminal case was opened over substandard services led by negligence to people’s death.

According to the investigation, on October 7, a road accident involving five cars and trucks and a school minibus happened on the federal road Astrakhan – Makhachkala near Dagestan’s village Rybalko. As a result of the crash, the bus driver and two women died, 14 people including 10 minors were taken to a hospital.

Investigators check persons responsible for the bus technical serviceability, the statement reads.
