MOSCOW, March 17 (RAPSI) – Nearly one in two crimes in the Russian Federation remains unsolved, according to President Vladimir Putin.

Moreover, he said at the extended meeting of the Prosecutor General’s Office on Tuesday that last year, for the first time since 2016, the number of crimes increased in the country.

There is a negative tendency concerning the rate of IT related crimes, the President added. Thus, he ordered the prosecutors to draft measures to decrease the number of such crimes.
