MOSCOW, October 21 (RAPSI) – Investigators have found bodies of Tatiana Sidorova, a lawmaker of the Moscow Region’s Ramensky district, and her three relatives, murdered in 2012, according to the press-service of Russia’s Investigative Committee.

Investigators, who have searched the site basing on information obtained during the probe, believe that the victims were murdered by members of a criminal gang, allegedly following orders of supposed crime boss Oleg Medvedev, earlier known as Oleg Shishkanov, because they refused to hand over certain land plots.

The alleged crime lord, an ex-owner of Saturn football club, was arrested in-mid July and placed in detention on allegations of occupying a top position in the criminal hierarchy (a new article in the Criminal Code of Russia).

He became the first well known defendant in this new article case in the Moscow metropolitan area.

This September, Moscow’s Basmanny District Court extended Medvedev’s (Shishkanov) detention until December 12.

Investigators allege that Medvedev (Shishkanov) is implicated in gambling, prostitution organization, drug and arms trafficking, alongside with being involved in kidnapping and killing of Sidorova and members of her family in 2012.
