MOSCOW, July 23 (RAPSI) – Two suspects were arrested on Tuesday as part of the investigation into a deadly fire in a children's camp in the Khabarovsk Krai, Far East, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports.

The camp director Maxim Kuznetsov and founder of director of Extreme Service, the company owning the camp, Vitaly Burlakov are suspected of providing services not equal to the safety requirements, the statement reads.

The fire occurred in the camp in the night of July 23. According to the latest numbers, four children died.

In total, 189 minors aged from 7 to 15 years were in the camp, the press service of the children’s rights commissioner Anna Kuznetsova reported earlier.

A criminal case was opened over negligent homicide.
