Investigators ask court to place Moscow poisoning case defendant in detention
MOSCOW, June 26 (RAPSI) – Investigators have filed a motion to detain Murat Sabanov accused of poisoning and robbing people in central Moscow with the city’s Tagansky District Court, according to the information released on the court’s website.
On Tuesday, police arrested Sabanov, the 26-year-old native of Russia’s Kabardino Balkariya. According to law enforcement, he has allegedly committed the crimes in Moscow since May.
As previously reported, over 20 young adults disguised with drink became victims of poisoning and robbing in central Moscow. The suspect wined them with cold drinks which caused the loss of consciousness and then robbed the victims.
