MOSCOW, June 17 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court on Monday dismissed an appeal against an arrest warrant issued in absentia for Alexander Heller, a defendant in the case over 850-million-ruble embezzlement (about $13 million) from the Moscow Metro state unitary enterprise, RAPSI learnt from the court’s press service.

Heller is to be detained for 2 months when arrested.

According to the investigation, between April and July 2015, CEO of Auto Sell Gyulya Kogan along with Heller and other accomplices stole over 850 million rubles reserved for paying for advertising spaces from the Moscow Metro.

Kogan and her defense are currently finishing reading the case papers. Heller was put on the international wanted list as he left Russia.
