MOSCOW, March 21 (RAPSI) – A criminal case has been opened against the first deputy head of the Moscow Region’s Chekhov urban district Dmitry Frish suspected of abuse of office, the Investigative Committee’s press service has told RAPSI.

Currently, searches are conducted at the suspect’s premises, according to the statement.

Investigators believe that in 2015 the official signed an agreement of sale and purchase without an auction of a municipal building with a person having no rights to buy out the whole unit.

Moreover, he granted a deferred payment for a term of 10 years as a benefit as part of this deal in violation of law envisaging a period of no more than 3 years.
