MOSCOW, October 25 (RAPSI) - The North Caucasus District Military Court will consider a case against Ukrainian national Pavel Gryb charged with inciting a Russian schoolgirl to commit a terrorist attack once more, the court’s spokesperson has told RAPSI.

In July, the case was returned to prosecutors due to the fact that charges brought against the defendant were not incorporated into the Criminal Code at the time the crime was allegedly committed, according to the court’s press service.

According to investigators, from March 27 to May 15, 2017, the Ukrainian citizen persuaded and called through the Internet a girl living in Sochi to commit a terrorist attack during a graduation party on June 30 and then leave Russia.

The defendant is charged with aiding terrorist activity. He pleads not guilty.

Currently, the defendant is in detention. His jail term is to expire on December 19. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
