ST. PETERSBURG, September 7 (RAPSI, Mikhail Telekhov) – The Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg has detained the leader of the Freelance Labor Union Vladimir Soloshenko charged with stealing 4 million rubles ($60,000) belonging to the organization until October 30, the United press service of St. Petersburg courts has told RAPSI.

Investigators claim that the defendant acting as a founder and chairman of the freelance labor union embezzled the organization’s funds between May 2016 and July 2017.

Soloshenko was arrested in early September. Searches were conducted as part of the case in the union’s office and premises of Soloshenko and his alleged accomplices.

According to the press office of the Federal Security Service’s Directorate for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Soloshenko,48, is also a founder of OneShopWorld company registered in Great Britain.
