MOSCOW, September 19 (RAPSI, Lyudmila Klenko) – Moscow’s Kuzminsky District Court ordered detention of Sulumbek Dzhabayev, who stands charged with murder of Russian hiker Nikolay Ivanov, the court’s spokesperson Karina Kalenova told RAPSI on Tuesday.

The defendant will stay in jail until November 14.

As previously reported, the athlete died in Moscow from a knife wound.

On the night of September 14 to 15, there was a conflict between young people resulted in a knife injury of one of them. The victim died in a hospital, according to investigators.
