MOSCOW, May 4 (RAPSI, Yevgeniya Sokolova) – The Moscow City Court has upheld the sentence against a judge of the Constitutional Court of Tatarstan Rashid Gafiyatullin involved in a fraud criminal case, RAPSI learnt in the court on Thursday.

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow earlier sentenced Gafiyatullin to five years in prison and a fine of 700,000 rubles (about $12,200).

According to investigators, in 2011-2012 the judge received six million rubles (about $105,200) and office buildings priced at 8.5 million rubles (about $149,100) from a businessman for a promise to help with return of mortgaged real estate.
