MOSCOW, September 6 (RAPSI, Oleg Sivozhelezov) – Russia’s Supreme Court has upheld a 2-year term in penal colony settlement given to Elvin Dzhavid oglu Shukyurzade for justifying terrorism online, RAPSI learnt in the court’s press service on Tuesday.

The sentence has taken effect.

The Moscow District Military Court delivered guilty verdict to Shukyurzade in early July.

The court found that the man had posted videos containing elements of justifying terrorist activity, incitement of hatred and animosity as well as violation of human dignity on grounds of nationality, religious beliefs and social class on his social network page. According to the court, he also pushed for terrorist activity.
