MOSCOW, August 8 (RAPSI) - Russian UTG company engaged in provision of aviation services in Vnukovo airport has waived its claim seeking to collect $571,900 from Ukrainian Azur Air Ukraine Airlines, previously known as UTair-Ukraine, according to the Moscow Commercial Court’s records.

The case has been closed.

In June and July, the court closed two similar cases involving Russian firm and Ukrainian air carrier. UTG demanded in two lawsuits to recover €538,400 and €784,100 but later the plaintiff dropped demands.

UTair-Ukraine airlines phased out regular flights in 2014. At the same time it retired regional ATR-72 airplanes it obtained in 2012 from the manufacturer. The company runs passenger charters to popular resorts and is based primarily at the Borispol airport.

Earlier it has been reported that the color design of Azur Air Ukraine company’s planes is similar to the Azur Air operating on the Russian market; however, the key colors were changed and instead of Russian national colors the Ukrainian firm uses colors of the Ukrainian flag (blue and yellow).
