MOSCOW, May 16 (RAPSI) – The Moscow Commercial Court has proceeded with the motions filed by the Apple Inc. and has taken interim measures against two more Russian firms that are involved in a legal dispute with this US corporation, the court’s ruling reads.

The court has prohibited the company “Registrator domennykh imen REG.Ru” to carry out any actions relating to a change of administrators or to altering of any other information relating to IPADOFF.RU, АЙПАДОФФ.РФ, АЙПАДОФ.РФ and АЙПАДОВ.РФ. domain names. These measures were taken in relation to the lawsuit against “Gun” company and Valentina Yegorova. The plaintiff in the case has also filed a motion to recover 7.5 million rubles ($115,000) from the defendants. The hearings in the case are to begin on June 7.

Additionally the “RSIC” company was prohibited from carrying out any actions relating to a change of administrators or to altering of any other information relating to CPLAZA.RU, COMPUTERPLAZA.RU and CP.RU. These measures were taken in relation to lawsuit against “Computer” and “Ivanhoe” companies as well as Pavel Sukhachev.

Earlier, in the framework of a claim against “Riona Plus”, Daniil Hovratovich and Ilya Chistyakov, the court has prohibited REG.Ru to carry out any actions relating to a change of administrators or to altering of any other information relating to APPLE-HOUSE.RU domain name, with the exception of actions relating to the assignment of rights to this domain to Apple Inc.

According to Apple Inc., the dispute arose in connection to the infringement on the US company’s exclusive rights for trademarks IPHONE, MAC, MAC PRO, IMAC, APPLE TV, APPLE WATCH, and Apple logotype on the part of the defendants. Pre-trial hearings are set on August 3.

Besides, as concerns a claim against “Avenue” company, Eduard Ignat and Viktor Valyanov, the court has prohibited company “Registrator P01” to carry out any actions relating to a change of administrators or to altering of any other information relating to APPAVENUE.RU and SERVICEAVENUE.RU domain names until a respective court order comes into effect. In this case, pre-trial hearings are set on July 12.

In total, the Moscow Commercial Court has registered four claims Apple Inc. lodged against Russian companies trading in computers and household appliances, which demand from them 31 million rubles ($470,000) as compensation for illegal use of trademarks.

Defendants listed in yet another lawsuit are “Computer”, “Ivanhoe” and Pavel Sukhachev who is listed as the head executive of the “Computer” company, according to government registration records. Apple demands to recover 9 million rubles ($138,000) from defendants in this lawsuit. The fourth claim seeks to recover 7.5 million rubles ($114,000) from “Gun” company and Valentina Yegorova.
