MOSCOW, December 24 (RAPSI) - Russian bailiffs are recovering more than 18 million rubles (about $254,000) in debt from State Duma lawmaker Alexei Mitrofanov, according to the Federal Bailiff Service’s databank of enforcement proceedings.

Mitrofanov has to pay loans totaling 18.1 million rubles under several Moscow courts’ decisions.

Moreover, the lawmaker is obliged to pay off traffic fines totaling 4,000 rubles (about $60) and 1,000 rubles of execution fee.

In October, Vice-speaker of the State Duma from LDPR Igor Lebedev said that Mitrofanov fled abroad and has not performed his duties for a long time, however, he has not been stripped of the parliamentary immunity and continued to get salary.
