MOSCOW, December 10 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court has ruled to temporarily block access to parta1.com website containing pirate versions of educational articles, according to the court’s website.

International Centre for Financial and Economic Development filed a motion for an injunction to protect their copyrights.

The court protected the applicant’s right to several dozens of articles concerning parenting, children’s health and socialization, preschool education, safety and tolerance in kindergartens.

The copyright holder has 15 days to file a lawsuit to permanently block the pirated content.

The State Duma passed an anti-piracy law on June 21, 2013.  According to the law, the Moscow City Court is the only court authorized to accept claims from copyright holders in relation to illegal content. Possible legal responses include deleting content or blocking a violating source.
