MOSCOW, August 6 (RAPSI) - The Moscow Commercial Court on Thursday accepted Gazprom Dobycha Nadym’s withdrawal of a lawsuit on collecting 1.13 billion rubles (about $18 mln) from Sberbank Russia, RAPSI reports from the courtroom.

Earlier, the court postponed the hearing several times. The plaintiff’s representative announced that Gazprom Dobycha Nadym and Stroygazconsulting, involved as a third party, had resumed talks over a civil works contract related to the lawsuit against the bank. The parties supported the plaintiff’s motion.

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym requested a payment of the bank guarantee provided by Russia’s largest bank to secure Stroygazconsulting’s obligations under a contract with the gas producer.

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is Gazprom’s 100% subsidiary mainly dealing with the production of gas and gas condensates.

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym operates in the Nadym-Pur and Tazovsky districts in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. In 2015, the company plans to increase gas production by 17% to a record 90.8 bn cubic meters.
