KHABAROVSK, March 20 (RAPSI) - A court in Khabarovsk will hear a case involving a local resident who ordered various drugs by mail. From the US, he received blotters of synthetic drugs and a package of cocaine from the Netherlands, a regional office of the Federal Drug Control Service reports.

“The investigation found that the defendant ordered and paid online for international delivery from the US to Khabarovsk. The package contained 100 blotters with Indian images on them, and the blotters contained a total of 0.019 grams of a synthetic drug,” the statement says.

According to the federal drug service, the man received a package with over 50 grams of methylone from China, 2C-B from Poland and Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds from Canada.

According to the official drug police statistic, about 8 million Russians used drugs and almost 150,000 people were jailed for drug-related crimes in 2013. The UN says that Russia, a nation of 142 million people, accounts for about 20% of the world's heroin consumption.
