KRASNOYARSK, March 26 - RAPSI. A girl who called for staging terrorist attacks and collected over 1 million rubles ($32,510) to help convicted terrorists has been detained by the Federal Security Service (FSB) department for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and arrested by a court decision, the department's press secretary Marina Moiseyeva told journalists on Tuesday.

Moiseyeva said that a Russian girl, aged 24 and a resident of the Minusinsk Region, using the pseudonym "Maryam Zakkiyeva," posted a photograph of a terrorist leader and a video of other terrorists on her VKontakte social network page.

In her comments to these posts, she "justified terrorism and called for staging terrorist attacks," Moiseyeva said.

The spokesperson said that in addition to making extremist statements, the girl also collected "over 1 million rubles to bribe officials dealing with cases of detained or convicted terrorists."

"The defendant received money from people across the country who support the idea of terrorism," the press secretary said.

If convicted, the girl may be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
