MOSCOW, September 24 - RAPSI. The proposal to publish on the State Duma website deputies’ queries to agencies and departments has been supported by all the Duma factions, Deputy Speaker Sergei Neverov told  journalists on Monday.

Earlier, Deputy Speaker Sergei Zheleznyan of United Russia and Liberal Democrat Igor Lebedev asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to look into the conduct of Communist Deputy Anatoly Lokot, who they believe lobbied for the Siberian Federal Health Improvement Center, and pressed for its registration on a priority basis. The same request was sent to Speaker Sergei Naryshkin.

Lokot has denied the charges, and added that he may sue the deputies for libel.

According to Neverov, the issue was discussed at Monday Duma meeting. Naryshkin instructed the legislative and the organizational committees to work on issues pertaining to the publication of queries.

He said his colleagues believe such a rule would make the Duma's work more transparent.
