MOSCOW, September 19 - RAPSI. The Perm Territory Commercial Court will hear on October 16 a claim filed by Avialeasing's external manager on the approval of an amicable agreement in the company's bankruptcy case, a court spokesperson told RAPSI Wednesday.

The bankruptcy application was earlier filed by Avialeasing.

The application on the approval of an amicable agreement was submitted to the court by the company's external manager Lev Shalyapin.

On May 31, the court imposed an external manager to oversee Avialeasing's bankruptcy proceedings for a term of 1.5 years.

Shlyapin said the company will be profitable if expenses are optimized, measures are taken to collect rent payments and accounts receivable, and the project is implemented to acquire and lease a Superjet100.

He added that the debtor has sufficient assets to lead its own business.

Avialeasing is one of the oldest Russian leasing companies specializing in aircrafts. Since 1996, it has been operating in the Perm Territory. Avialeasing was the first company to lease the new TU-204 plane.
