MOSCOW, September 6 - RAPSI. Investigators returned money that had been confiscated from opposition leader Alexei Navalny during a raid carried out in connection with the May 6 Bolotnaya Square riots, his attorney Vadim Kobzev told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) Wednesday.
"Today the investigators returned to Alexei the 10,000 rubles ($308) they had confiscated from him. Some other items have already been given back to him. Only his computer and mobile phone have not yet been returned," said Kobzev.

Clashes with the police broke out on May 6 during an opposition march across Moscow, which had been officially sanctioned. Dozens of protesters and police officers were injured. The police detained over 400 rally participants.

After May 6, the opposition continued its protests in the form of "people's promenades", wherein crowds of opposition activists would stroll together peacefully through the city in a show of protest. In June, investigators searched the homes of rally organizers and participants, including those of Navalny, Sergei Udaltsov, Ilya Yashin and Boris Nemtsov.

Previously Navalny stated at a court session that, as he is a lawyer, he should be subject to special circumstances since he has the right to keep confidential documents protected by professional secrecy standards. He claims that all his client files, all digital media and written documents, CDs, children's things and photos were confiscated.
