MOSCOW, July 31 - RAPSI. The Tomsk Regional Commercial Court has registered the tax service's application for the bankruptcy of Tomsk Oil and Gas Company, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency.

The hearing date has yet to be scheduled.

In April, bailiffs seized the company's property at West-Klyuchevsky oil and gas field worth 10 million rubles ($310,700) in view of its tax arrears, the regional bailiffs' service reported.

The report specified that the company's arrears on tax and duties payments, its contributions to social insurance and pension funds and its debt owed to other entities amounted to 20 million rubles ($621,400).

According to the report, "as of the seizure date, the debt was reduced by six million rubles ($186,400), as the company paid some of the taxes". The sale of corporate property is expected to bring another 10 million rubles ($310,700).

The company was established in 1999 for oil and gas exploration in Tomsk Region.

In 2010, the company's proceeds reached 53.2 million rubles ($1.65 million) and the net profit amounted to 3.6 million rubles ($112,000).
