MOSCOW, July 11 - RAPSI. The Supreme Court will soon make available clarifications regarding its resolution to limit the transfer of arrears rights to third parties, National Association of Professional Collector Agencies President Alexander Morozov told the PRIME business news agency on Wednesday.

Earlier, a court representative said the resolution only applies to contracts concluded after June 28. However, this clarification has not been indicated in the resolution, which has led to a degree of uncertainty among banks. Unicredit Bank, Russia's eight largest bank in terms of assets, chose to suspend the sale of its debts to collectors until the Supreme Court has clarified the details.

According to the Supreme Court's resolution, banks will be able to transfer their arrears rights to collectors as of June 28 if the transaction has been agreed upon in the bank-client contract. The resolution's initial version actually prohibited the activity of collector agencies.
