MOSCOW, June 28 – RAPSI. The Moscow City Court has overturned the ruling to award former Senator Vladimir Slutsker’s collection of paintings to his ex wife Olga.

The press-service of the former senator said that the collection includes works by modern artists from the West, such as Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst, and paintings by Russian classic artists Karl Bryullov and Boris Kustodiev. The collection was moved out of his house on June 8.

In addition, the press service said that no pictures were found in the storage area designated by the court. Nor has it been possible to find Rodon security agency and Fineartvane company who were responsible for storing the pictures.

The press-service also noted that if Slutsker’s wife and her authorized representatives will not help to resolve the mysterious disappearances of the paintings, the attorneys will refer to the law enforcement authorities to start criminal proceedings and will issue an official wanted notice.
