MOSCOW, June 27 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has declared Holding-Credit bank bankrupt.

Established in 1994, the bank was one of Russias top 300 banks in terms of assets.

The bank has been placed into six-month bankruptcy administration.

The Central Bank revoked Holding-Credits license in mid-May. The bank is suspected of asset diversion accompanied by the destruction or misappropriation of its electronic client database and documents.

The banks liabilities exceed 8 billion rubles ($241 million) while its assets are estimated at 1.487 billion rubles ($44.8 million). About 90 percent of its assets are receivables under loans, which are impossible to confirm.

The banks tax arrears amount to 1.924 billion rubles ($58 million).

As of April individual deposits totaled 7.3 billion rubles ($220 million), assets made up more than 9.6 billion rubles (4289 million) and capital was equal to 934.3 million rubles ($28 million). In the first quarter, the bank earned 51 million rubles ($1.5 million) in net profits.
