MOSCOW, June 26 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has extended by another six months the Capital Tour travel agency's bankruptcy administration.

The court has satisfied the administrator’s petition and extended the procedure until December 26. The next hearing has been scheduled for December 19.

Capital Tour was declared bankrupt on December 22, 2011. Its creditors schedule includes 123 claims totaling 1.495 billion rubles ($45 million).

The court placed the company into bankruptcy administration on April 25, 2011. 

Another tour operator named Capital Tour has also been under bankruptcy administration since May 16, 2011 following its application for own bankruptcy.

Capital Tour was established in July 2003 as Russia’s first universal international travel agency. It was one of top three travel agencies in Russia. It sold medium- and high-budget tours to 40 countries through over 20,000 travel companies in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic states.
