WARSAW, June 15 - RAPSI. At least two Russian football fans among those detained for violence in Poland have received custodial sentence, RIA Novosti reports based on information from the Warsaw District Court.

The fighting broke out on June 12, the day of the Russia-Poland game, when fans of the two teams clashed. As a result, two Russians were given suspended sentences of two and three months.

A further Russian fan, who ran out onto the field during the match, has also received a suspended three-month sentence and may be deported. Another Russian accused of throwing flares during the game was acquitted.

However, four fans from Russia are still under arrest, pending trial. The investigation against them continues, said Marcin Lochowski, press secretary for the Warsaw-Praga District Court.

Among the convicted fans are two Spaniards, who have also received custodial sentences. Over 180 football fans were detained on Tuesday night following street fights in Warsaw: 26 were Russians and the rest were predominantly Poles.
