MOSCOW, MAY 14 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has satisfied the application by the social network Odnoklassniki to consider a closed door hearing of the lawsuit invalidating the decision to charge the company an additional $1.49 million in tax payments, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.ru).

The defendant disputes the Federal Tax Service's decision of December 29, 2011. The defendant has been accused of tax violations - failing to pay profit taxes to the value of 36.7 million rubles ($1.21 million) for the tax year of 2009, 1.01 million rubles ($33,500) in penalty for not paying the tax, as well as a fine worth 7.3 million rubles ($241,965) for nonpayment.

Odnoklassniki is one of the largest social networks in Russia. It has circa 31 million regular users, according to LiveInternet.
