MOSCOW, May 5 - RAPSI. The Samara Region Commercial Court put off until May 24 the hearing of Renault Samara's lawsuit to invalidate the decision on recovering from it $8.03 million in taxes.

On February 22, the Samara Region Commercial Court upheld a court ruling to suspend the recovery of 239.3 million rubles ($8.03 million) from Renault Samara.

The court dismissed an appeal by the Federal Tax Service on dismissing the court decision to suspend the recovery from Renault Samara of 239.3 million rubles ($8.03million) in taxes, duty, penalties and fines before the judicial act on the case comes into effect.

To fulfill its tax obligations the company submitted a security deposit to the court equal to the disputed amount.

But the tax inspectorate did not agree with the interim measures. According to the inspectorate, the applicant did not provide enough evidence of the damages after failing to take interim measures.

The court found that the inspectorates application contained no concrete reason which would prove the lack of grounds for taking interim measures.
