MOSCOW, May 2 - RAPSI. The Moscow Regional Commercial Court will hear on May 31 an application for Moskovia Airlines' bankruptcy.

According to the court records, the airline owes 1.8 million rubles ($61,300) to the applicant, Novosibirsk Chkalov Aircraft Production Association .

The Moscow Regional Commercial Court had terminated bankruptcy proceedings against Moskovia in December. The process was initiated by the Financial Leasing Company, which withdrew its application on November 28. The case records say the airline owed 47.3 million rubles ($1.6 million) to the company.

The court had ceased to consider the Moskovia's application for own bankruptcy on August 12 when the airline withdrew its petition.

Moskovia Airlines was founded in 1995. It operates from Moscow's Domodedovo airport making regular and charter passenger and cargo flights across Russia, as well as to other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
