GORNO-ALTAISK, April 27 - RAPSI. Siberian resident Nikolai Togolev, 23, has been sentenced to 26 months behind bars for affronting a judge and a public prosecutor.

The young man was dissatisfied with the court's decision in the criminal case against him and addressing the judge using foul language. After being reprimanded by the public prosecutor, he began to swear at her as well. This incident took place in December. Then in January Togolev again used obscene language when speaking to the judge.

By this stage Togolev already had a criminal record.

The Republic's Supreme Court found him guilty of contempt of court.
