NIZHNY NOVGOROD, April 18 - RAPSI. Gazprom Neft's subsidiary was fined $10,165 for acquiring new assets without duly notifying an antimonopoly authority, the watchdog's press service reported.

In late 2011 Gazprom Neft - Nizhny Novgorod purchased oil product facilities and five gas stations without the watchdog's consent. As a result, a rival company, the previous owner of the assets, in fact, had to leave the market.

Gazprom Neft - Nizhny Novgorod is one of Gazprom Neft's marketing enterprises. Gazprom Neft - Nizhny Novgorod has a network of 35 gas stations under the Gazprom Neft brand.
