MOSCOW, April 16 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court postponed until May 28 its hearing of a lawsuit filed by Domodedovo Airport Commercial Agency against Vnukovo Airport to recover $10mln in debt owed by Krasnoyarsk Airlines, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com).

Initially, the plaintiff requested 453.3 million rubles ($15.3 million) but later reduced the amount.

Vnukovo Airport's counterclaim for 453.36 million rubles ($15.31 million) in unjust enrichment and 28.9 million rubles ($975,980) in interest is considered as part of the case.
The dispute stems from the AiRUnion bankruptcy in 2008. The company comprised KrasAir, Domodedovo Airlines, Samara, Omskavia and Sibaviatrans airlines. The Domodedovo airport served as AiRUnion's hub. The airport refused to provide ground services to the alliance in August 2008, in view of its spiraling debt.

Air regulators decided to transfer AiRUnion to Vnukovo thus allowing the alliance to fulfill its remaining scheduled flights. Vnukovo Airport guaranteed that AiRUnion would repay to the agency its debt that accrued from August 12, 2008 until the alliance's relocation to Vnukovo on September 7, 2008.
