ST. PETERSBURG, April 2 - RAPSI. The St. Petersburg Commercial Court has suspended until April 19 its hearing of a lawsuit filed by Russia's leading long-distance telephony provider Rostelecom to revoke the antimonopoly watchdog's resolution that it violated antitrust law.

Rostelecom has challenged the watchdogs November 2011 decision.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service stated earlier that the telephone provider violated competition protection law while charging its St. Petersburg subscribers for time-based telephone communications.

The service found that the company breached services provision rules, as it submitted telephone bills to subscribers less than five days before the payment deadline.

Meanwhile, the phone operator is legally obliged to submit bills to clients within at least 10 days after the bill was issued.
