MOSCOW, April 2 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A working group at the Justice Ministry will submit recommendations to improve legislation on the disciplinary responsibility of judges, Supreme Commercial Court Deputy Chairman Tatyana Andreyeva reported on Monday.

The reasons why judges can be brought to disciplinary responsibility today are vague and abstract, she said, which is a major problem for qualification boards of judges.
Andreyeva added that the provisions formulated in the law are too ambiguous.

Judges must not act in such a way, so as to inflict damage on a judge's authority or status, she said. The working group must more clearly define disciplinary misdemeanors and provide a more concrete definition of the reasons why judges can be brought to disciplinary responsibility
