MOSCOW, March 12 - RAPSI. The court will hold hearings this month in the administrative cases of whistleblower Alexei Navalny, Left Front opposition movement leader Sergei Udaltsov and Solidarity movement leader Ilya Yashin, who were detained after protests in Moscow in early March, the Moscow Tverskoy Court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.ru) on Monday.

The hearings in the case of Navalny, who was detained after a March 5 rally, have been set for March 15. He is charged with violating the established order for holding a rally, which is punishable by a fine of 2,000 rubles ($67.6).

The same court set March 26 as the date to hear the case of Yashin, who was detained on the same day. Yashin claims that he was charged with disobeying police officers, an offense punishable by up to 15 day arrest.

The case regarding Udaltsov, who was detained after a March 10 rally, will be heard on March 28.

An opposition rally protesting the results of the presidential elections was held in central Moscow on March 5. It turned into an unauthorized procession. Police officers were forced to detain activists including Navalny and Udaltsov.

Around 14,000 people took part in the "For Honest Elections" rally, according to the Interior Ministry. About 250 were detained. All of them were brought to precincts.

On March 10, Novy Arbat hosted the rally with over 10,000 participants. According to the Interior Ministry, after the event, a group of citizens led by Udaltsov tried to arrange an unauthorized procession.
