BLAGOVESHCHENCK, February 27 - RAPSI. An assay inspectorate has fined Pokrovky Mine for a failure to inform the Federal Financial Monitoring Service about its transactions, the regional assistant prosecutor told RIA Novosti.

Pokrovky Mine produces and processes gold ore and sells base gold and silver.

The prosecutor's office audited Pokrovky Mine in terms of compliance with the federal law on combating legalization of proceeds from crime and financing terrorism.

The prosecutor opened a case of administrative violation and referred it to the state assay inspectorate, which fined the company 100,000 rubles ($3,400).
