MOSCOW, February 27 - RAPSI. Almost 11,000 people attended a protest rally in Moscow this weekend, law enforcement authorities report.

The opposition event was an extension of the previous rallies For Fair Elections.

In the organizers' estimate the Large White Circle rally should have been attended by roughly 34,000 people.

No incidents or violations were reported.

Opposition activists are calling for the results of the State Duma elections of December 4, won by United Russia, to be overturned. The party preserved its parliamentary majority, although it received fewer votes and lost some seats.
