MOSCOW, February 20 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A commercial court will hear on April 17 a bankruptcy petition filed by GK Inzhglobal against Strabag AG's Russian subsidiary, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) on Monday.

The petition was filed on February 10. The applicant requests the court to appoint Mikhail Vasilega as Strabag's interim trustee. Vasilega had earlier been an interim trustee at Cifrograd Group.

The primary court awarded GK Inzhglobal 11 million rubles ($368,000) in late December in its suit against Strabag. The plaintiff sought to recover a debt for repairs on a residential estate in Moscow. The defendant had a month to appeal the judgment. However, no information has yet been released about the appeal.

RAPSI/rapsinews.com has yet to obtain comments from the parties.

The Austrian Strabag construction group was established in 1835. Strabag has been operating in Russia since 1991 under the "Ilbau" brand. Strabag's Russian division was founded in 1999. Its official representative office was founded in Moscow in 2001. Its Russian portfolio is worth three billion euro. Strabag SE earned 8.82 billion euro in the first half of 2011 compared to losses of 12.8 billion euro during the same period of 2010.
