MOSCOW, February 15 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has validated the antimonopoly service's decision to fine M.Video Management $3.333 million for violating advertising law, the service reports.

According to the watchdog, the administrative proceedings against M.Video Management were initiated after the watchdog's August 18, 2011 decision in the case of the company's alleged violation of advertising law. The case was launched following the submission of a complaint by an individual who was not sold a washing machine and a TV set at an M.Video store in Ulan-Ude.

The service discovered that M.Video Management distributed advertisements about the offer.

The advertisement was distributed in the store and also broadcast on the STS television channel. It contained a clause written in tiny letters that the number of goods was limited.

According to the plaintiff, the individual who submitted the complaint to the service drove to Ulan-Ude to buy a washing machine and a TV set in the store. However, he failed to do so as the products had already been sold although the offer had not expired.

M.Video has been operating on the market since 1993. Its shares have been traded on MICEX and RTS since 2007.
