MOSCOW, December 22 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The Moscow Commercial Court has satisfied three Rosselkhozbank lawsuits against a major Moscow market and an alcohol distributor for a total of $59.8 million.

The bank sought to recover the debt under loan agreements from Vinexim and the Cheryomushkinsky market. The claims amounted to 956.7 million rubles ($30.1 million), 520.9 million rubles ($16.4 million) and 517.5 million rubles ($16.3 million).

The court is also in the middle of considering three more of the bank’s lawsuits to the tune of 910.824 million rubles ($28.7 million) and a 422.527 million ruble ($13.3 million) action.

Founded in 2000, Rosselkhozbank is one of Russia’s five largest banks. It is a 100-percent state-owned bank with the second-largest banking network in the country, with over 1,600 branch offices.
