MOSCOW, December 16 - RAPSI. The Supreme Commercial Court has held against the consumer protection authority's decision to fine Transaero airline for its actions during a transport collapse at Domodedovo airport in December 2010, the airline reports.

Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Welfare fined Transaero for its failure to supply the passengers of seven flights with full and reliable information on the flights date and time or cancellation from December 26 to 28, 2010.

The airline argues that not a single flight was delayed through its fault while the emergency teams were still struggling with the ice rain aftermath at the airport. Besides, Transaero maintains its employees did their best to help the passengers affected by the force majeure.
