MOSCOW, November 21 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. A commercial court has sided with a central television company in its lawsuit against a non-governmental cinematography development fund for $272,000 in debt for advertising, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company said it entered into a contract with Mikhail Kalatozov's Fund for the national cinematography support and development on October 14, 2005. Under the contract the company broadcast the funds advertisement.

The plaintiff provided the services and the defendant accepted them, which is confirmed by the services acceptance report. The parties amended the contract in December 2006 in terms of payment amount and timing. The statement of claims reads that the liabilities totaled 13.5 million rubles ($437,000), but the defendant has only paid 5.09 million rubles ($165,000), so the plaintiff is trying to recover the outstanding amount in court.
