MOSCOW, November 8 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. A court has suspended proceedings in a $6.7 million lawsuit filed by the EuroCement Group against BaselCement-Pikalevo, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported.
The EuroCement Group is suing BaselCement-Pikalevo for lost profits because Basel refused to supply nepheline slime to the company in August 2008.
The parties submitted additional documents on Tuesday, so the court can estimate the losses.
The examination is expected to be fulfilled by January 31, 2012. The hearings will then resume.
The EuroCement Group is an international, vertically integrated industrial holding company that manufactures construction materials. It is one of the eight largest cement manufacturers in the world.
