MOSCOW, November 7 - RAPSI, Diana Gutsul. A court held for a $13,000 a lawsuit filed by famous satiric writer and stand-up comedian Mikhail Zhvanetsky against a publishing house, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the court on Monday.

According to the case materials, the Zebra E publisher issued a second edition of Magazin Zhvanetskogo (Zhvanetsky's Store), which comprised about 70 tales and miniatures written by Zhvanetsky.

The comedian said that his rights were violated, that's why he asked to compensate him for the losses worth the double price of a book - $11.820 as well as moral harm worth $1,637.

The court found that the Zebra E publisher violated Zhvanetsky exclusive rights to reproduction and distribution of his works.
