MOSCOW, November 2 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. A commercial court in Moscow suspended the execution of the tax inspectorate's decision to impose a fine on the Gazpromavia airline amounting to $3.86 million in taxes, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) on Wednesday.

Gazpromavia is a 100-percent-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. It was established in 1995. It comprises eight branches.

The decision was suspended under an appeal by the airline.

The court prohibited the tax inspectorate from implementing any actions to levy the funds from Gazpromavia.

The court decision reads in part that levying taxes, penalties and fines from the company will inflict it major damages.

The airline provided a guarantee of Gazprombank worth $2.19 million as a counter injunction.
