The international legal congress to take place in Moscow, December 1-2

MOSCOW, October 26 - RAPSI. The international legal congress Law and Modernization: Experience, Prospects, Trends with the participation of more than 300 experts from leading Russian and foreign law companies and organizations will be held at the RIA Novosti International Multimedia Press Center on December 1-2, 2011.

The event is organized by the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) jointly with RIA Novosti. The Ford Foundation Alumni Association is a co-organizer of a special session of the congress.

The main goal of the congress is to start a comprehensive dialogue between all participants of legal relations: lawyers, economists, scientists and business people.  Guests at the congress include leading experts in the judicial sector: Russian Ministry of Justice officials, representatives of international law companies, business associations, and journalists.

The congress will bring up urgent legal issues in global social, economic and political areas challenging Russia and the world at large: development and management of a law business, the choice of the best model of lawyers’ professional activity, state policy on updating the legal system, and aspects of operation of active players in the law market.
