MOSCOW, October 21 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. The Supreme Commercial Court initiated on Friday review proceedings over the State Property Management Agency's (Rosimushchestvo) lawsuit filed against the Moscow mayor's office for a land plot ownership, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

Rosimushchestvo claimed the ownership of the land plot earlier occupied by Sport hotel.

The Moscow Commercial Court approved a settlement in March. However, the Moscow District Federal Commercial Court overruled the decision in June. The court argued the settlement agreement "contains no mutual concessions" since the defendant actually admitted the claim. The case was remanded for reconsideration to the primary court.

Rosimushchestvo challenged the Moscow District Federal Commercial Court's judgment in the Supreme Commercial Court.

The Moscow Commercial Court postponed the case sine die on Friday as the Supreme Commercial Court requested the documents to review the case. The next hearing will be scheduled after the review is completed.
