MOSCOW, October 18 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. A commercial court adjourned until December 14 its hearing of the National Reserve Bank's (NRB) lawsuit to establish efforts to rehabilitate the Russian Capital Bank on Tuesday, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

The lawsuit has been lodged against the Central Bank to establish the fact of the Russian Capital Bank's rehabilitation and financial rescue.

The Central Bank asked the claimant on Tuesday to specify if it wanted the acknowledgement of its rehabilitation effort from October 27, 2008 to May 14, 2009. After the claimant answered in the affirmative, the lawyer applied for the trial's termination. The court has yet to consider this application.

The NRB refused to give reasons for filing the lawsuit to journalists after the session.

The NRB withdrew from the Russian Capital Bank rehabilitation project upon selling its interest to the Deposit Insurance Agency and repaying the funds received for the effort in full. The reason was the uncovering of 5 billion ruble ($162 million) drain from the Russian Capital Bank.
